Encore® Operator System - Offers Increased Performance
Encore Operators give you all the strength and performance characteristics, with the flexibility of a snap-fit cover and streamlined full-flip folding handle that eliminates collapse during operation. Encore Operators require 33% less effort to operate than previous operators and are designed to use the same mounting location as the Maxim system. Stainless steel components are available for coastal applications. These operators complement the Encore Multi-Point Locking System
Handle/Cover options
Differentiate your window line by taking advantage of Encore’s unique cover and handle designs. Encore’s full-flip folding handle recesses in the operator cover–giving windows a smooth, contemporary look–and eliminating interference with curtains and blinds. The snap-fit cover removes easily for painting and staining of window frame.
Multiple Arm Configurations For Varying Window Styles
- Dual Arm Operator – for large casements – up to 40”x 84” frame/96 lb. sash
- Dyad Operator – for 16”- 32” wide casements
- Reverse Dyad Operator – for 12”- 24” wide windows and specialty windows (i.e., round tops, half round, trapezoid, garden, octagon, and windows that use butt hinges or 4-bar hinges)
- Single Arm Operator – for 20”- 32” wide casements and specialty windows where egress is required
- Awning Operator – for frame widths from 20”- 60” wide
- Narrow Awning Operator – for smaller cavity profiles and smaller window sizes
- Single Arm Awning Operator – for narrow windows or those with a smaller profile cavity
- Low Profile Dyad Operator – for 12”- 24” wide casements (available in rear mount only)

The Awning Hinge System has adjustable friction screws which allow users to customize the effort required to open and close awning windows. As they open, awning hinges balance a sash, making for smooth effortless operation. A Delrin shoe with stainless steel reinforcement provides continuous, fluid action with solid support. Also available: corrosion-resistant non-magnetic stainless steel package. Optional adjustable stud available.

High Performance Casement Hinge
The High Performance Casement Hinge is capable of supporting a 140 lb sash, which means manufacturers can now build operable windows that can meet today’s new energy efficient requirements.
Innovative Patented Shoe Design – with built-in roller to reduce friction during operation providing smoother action even under maximum load. This “super shoe” is able to withstand up to 240 lbs of pull-out force in open position and also acts as a shipping block to help protect the hinge from damage during shipping and handling.
Available in 300 Series Stainless Steel – 300 Series helps provide corrosion protection for the demanding environment in coastal applications.
Adjustable Brass Stud – Larger Adjustable Brass Stud with more adjustability than Truth’s standard hinges. Nearly 1/8th of an inch of adjustability of the sash helps to ensure a consistent reveal and optimum weather seal while helping to reduce sash drag.
24 Series Maxim® Sash Locks
Solid and secure locking for vinyl, aluminum, and fiberglass window systems. With Multi-Point for casement and Single-Point for awning or casements, this advanced locking system complements Maxim Operators & Hinges. Whether a right- or left-hand window, this system utilizes a non-handed design to help reduce inventory. The lock-to-tie bar attachment makes installation fast and easy. Maxim’s “zippered locking effect” assures engagement of the top lock point. With .625″ of reach out capability, the window can be locked without being completely closed.
